This Sea Jasper was mined from the Norcross-Madagascar quarry, and manufactured by Gem Surfaces®, anorther NMG division. This product is a mosaic. Because these fine gems don't naturally lend themselves to standard table top dimensions, we have developed a special technique that lets us piece them together into a durable mosaic like no other.
Our Sea Jasper is the finest grade found in Madagascar. This same material has been marketed with various name by others including ocean jasper and orbicular jasper. It is all found in the same remote region in the north west part of the island.
